Orgastic Reveries

During the COVID period, I created work centered on erotic reverie, reflecting my own longing to be with another person. I became deeply involved in an intense, extended online relationship with someone I never met face-to-face. For more than a year, we exchanged thoughts, fantasies, and emotional intimacy, yet the connection never materialized into physical reality. Like so many relationships of that strange time, it existed purely in imagination — powerful, fragile, and ultimately fleeting.

This experience gave rise to a series of expressive paintings exploring female desire and orgasmic emotion translated into paint. My fantasies expanded even further, leading me to create small card-game works as a way to exchange with the outside world, which had come to a standstill due to distancing, fear, and the crossing of both physical and emotional borders.
